Much Aplomb is a startup business in Cleveland, OH, focusing on experiential marketing and event planning. In the 19th century, English speakers borrowed aplomb, meaning “composure.” The letterforms M and A combine to create the crown mark. The crown represents thought leadership, trust, and intellect. The rounded edges and custom typography make the brand feel less dictatorial and more approachable. At the client’s request, I drew visual and tonal inspiration from Wes Anderson films.
